Star of the Seas at Port Roatan

Star of the Seas at Port Roatan

On September 4th, Port Roatan proudly welcomed Royal Caribbean’s Star of the Seas on its historic Maiden Call. Under the Caribbean sun, the day was filled with excitement, adventure, and celebration—we danced, laughed, and shared unforgettable moments with our new friends.

About Star of the Seas

Royal Caribbean’s Star of the Seas is the newest jewel in the fleet, officially setting sail on her Maiden Voyage from Port Canaveral, Florida, on August 31. Measuring 1,196 feet in length and 219 feet wide, the ship offers an unmatched variety of experiences:

  • 40 dining venues and world-class culinary options
  • A grand theater with Broadway-style shows
  • Multiple pools and six thrilling water slides
  • rock-climbing wall and endless entertainment for all ages

Breaking records, the Star of the Seas features the largest water park at sea and proudly holds the title of the world’s largest cruise ship, alongside her twin sister, Icon of the Seas.

A Special Moment for Port Roatan

This Maiden Call was more than just a visit—it was a milestone for Port Roatan. Guests enjoyed the perfect combination of comfort, relaxation, and unique cultural experiences, from lounging poolside to taking in live entertainment.

It was truly a day to remember, and we look forward to creating many more extraordinary moments as we continue to welcome the world’s most iconic ships.
