From April 13 to 16, we had the opportunity to be part of the 41st edition of Seatrade Cruise Global in Miami, Florida, the largest in its history, with more than 12.5k attendees, 650 exhibitors, more than 85 cruise and lines and over 125 countries represented.
Starting on the 13th, guests had time to register for the conferences and special events. Dedicated programs and networking opportunities. It was a fantastic start.

On this special edition, our booth #681 had plenty to share. The booth was the ultimate ITM Group experience, inviting guests to enjoy their time, take pictures, and of course, make connections.
At our booth, we had the opportunity to connect, and showcase our current, and new projects:
Port Melilla: Our first port in Spain, located in the Autonomous City of Melilla

Port Samana: Our third port in the Dominican Republic. Opening on November 24

Ensenada Bay Village: Our project in the Mexican Pacific, developed in collaboration with Carnival Corporation, and Hutchison Ports ECV

April 14th was very successful! We had the honor to welcome special guests at our booth, like the Minister of Tourism of the Dominican Republic, David Collado and the Executive Director of the Dominican Port Authority, Jean Luis Rodriguez.

We also held a meeting with Gustavo Santana Hernandez, President of Puertos del Estado, España.

During this day, we signed the boardwalk project in Roatan led by the mayor’s office and Port Roatan. This will create a vibrant space for community and cruise visitors, boosting Consolation Bight’s economy.

A standout moment happened on April 15th, with our panel “Port Governance and the Future of Ports” a session that explored how innovation, sustainability, and collaboration are redefining port operations worldwide.
The panel featured an exceptional group of industry leaders:

- Hermes Rodriguez, Environmental Operations Manager at Carnival Cruise Lines
- Ambra Attus, Director of Impact, Growth and Development at Cruise Excellence
- Heike Naigur, Senior Director of Sustainability at Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings
- Carla Desentis, Director of BSI at ITM Group
Guiding the conversation was Alicia Mateos, our Director of Sustainability and President of Genera Foundation, whose moderation brought clarity and depth to a topic that continues to gain urgency.

A dynamic exchange of perspectives, all pointing toward one shared goal: building smarter, more sustainable, and future-ready ports.
The last day of Seatrade Cruise Global 2026 on April 16th was unforgettable. We had an incredible time connecting with new friends from all around the world, sharing ideas, and experiences. The energy, innovation, and sense of community throughout the event made it a perfect closing to an inspiring week.
At ITM Group, we’re feeling grateful with this experience and We’re leaving with new perspectives, meaningful connections, and excitement for what’s ahead in the cruise industry.
Thank you for stopping by! See you in the next edition!
