We are excited to share that on October 8th, we signed a collaboration agreement with the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (MMARN) for the improvement of visitor centers located within Jaragua National Park. This initiative includes work at Laguna de Oviedo and Bahia de las Aguilas, as well as the construction of an ecological trail at Pozos de Romeo.

The event was attended by our CEO, Mauricio Hamui; Paino Henriquez, Minister of Environment and Natural Resources; Carlos Augusto Batista, Vice Minister of Protected Areas and Biodiversity; Alejandro Campos, Chairman of the Board of Directors of APORDOM; Salma Gordillo, our Junior Legal Director for the Caribbean; and Martin Serrano, Biologist from our Environmental Management Department.

This collaboration reaffirms our commitment to the Dominican Republic and to every member of its community. Through this partnership, we aim not only to strengthen existing ties, but also to actively contribute to the country’s comprehensive development. We will continue to support initiatives that foster economic and social growth, always guided by a clear vision of environmental sustainability.
